NBC Universal Sucks!!!

If you've ever wondered why many of the cable channels have been sucking the last few years, and changing their names, then you're not alone. Formerly Sci-fi, used to be chock full of science fiction, original series that were science fiction and now it's Syfy and mainly deals with reality TV and B-rated Horror. 

The Discovery Network, G4, now Esquire (just another Spike TV now). A&E means Arts and Entertainment and it's crammed full of Reality TV crap. And the list goes on. Who's doing it?

NBC UNIVERSAL! They have purchased a majority of the Cable Networks and flood it with all their reality, low-intelligence programming. History channel has little to do with History. Discovery Science used to be really interesting and now what remains is far fetched over-thought theories like on "Through The Wormhole" 

The Military Channel used to be interesting as well, now it deals with Conspiracy Theories. NBC is part owner of The Weather Channel and for a while, there were so many reality programs, that the Carriers started dropping them. I remember a couple of years ago, they had 2 hours of weather from 5-7, than jumped to Reality TV the rest of the day with only updates on major weather events. They're somewhat better now, except for the idiocy of naming storms.
 Don't get me started on Animal Planet! Bigfoot Hunters. Yeah right...

They have the lowest ratings of all in spite of their monopoly and the internet is filled with complaints and sites like, "Boycott Syfy"
So I've cut my cable down to 12 channels + PBS stations (NOVA is very educational) I save money and I found out that when I blocked out NBC Universal Owned Channels, I had little more than 12 anyway!

I pray they never buy out HBO and Showtime. Or Netflix!
